August is a beautiful month to visit the Altopiano del Sole

August is outdoor walks, it’s forest scent and discovering the many places of interest that the Altopiano’s six municipalities have to offer.

To try to guide you as best we can to discover the many “favourite places” we have decided to create a section dedicated to places of interest to visit and the experiences that will be possible in the area. Once you are in this section you will be able to filter the activities and places of interest by “turning on” or “turning off” the various search filters. Here you will be able to find information related to cultural activities, exploring the territory, sports and entertainment, parks, museums, churches, cultural places and good food.

DISCOVER ALTOPIANO DEL SOLE

We started this activity recently, which is why within the sections you will find a very small selection compared to what the Altopiano del Sole area really has to offer. In fact, this activity was developed jointly by the six municipalities of the Altopiano: Angolo Terme, Borno, Lozio, Ossimo, Malegno and the municipality of Piancogno. This is intended to be just the beginning of a path that we hope will soon bring together all the activities and places of interest on the Altopiano. The goal is to enable tourists to receive information both “before” and “during” their stay.

But that’s not all: how often do we reach a place or an area with no idea of what to visit and how to spend our time? It often happens, and by analyzing this very common situation we decided to prepare information sheets of places and experiences. In this way we intend to provide the visitor, in a clear and precise way, with directions about various places to visit. Each card is equipped with a location map, which will enable visitors to reach the place of interest using built-in map systems on smartphones.

Within the place or experience, you will also be able to directly consult reference websites, telephone and e-mail contact information.

August is a month full of events and happenings, all conducted in full compliance with Anti-covid regulations.
