The area of the Altopiano del Sole is rich in signs of art: this extraordinary concentration can be seen above all in the churches and chapels, which can be found in large numbers in all the municipalities of the Altopiano. Over the centuries and over the years, numerous artists and painters have passed through this area and left their mark in the form of paintings, frescoes and statues, which are still perfectly visible today.
Strolling through the streets of the villages of the Altopiano del Sole, one can see several churches, chapels and shrines, all perfectly preserved and always open to visitors. These sacred buildings bear witness to the local popular religiosity and are an important artistic expression.
