The Altopiano del Sole is tradition.
In every season, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in events typical of our territory. The substantial calendar of events and appointments allows visitors not only to experience the magic of these moments, but also to fully savour the typical features and unique traditions of an extraordinary territory such as the Altopiano del Sole.
Usages and customs handed down from generation to generation become the protagonists of a true spectacle. The staging of the memory of the territories, before the glittering eyes of an audience that becomes the first witness of a priceless heritage of traditions. Traditions that would otherwise risk remaining relegated to the (beautiful) memories of the elderly.
The Altopiano del Sole’s calendar of events is always rich and varied and attracts many Camuni and non-Camuni to visit these characteristic villages every year. Culinary festivals are organised, such as the Sagra dei Capù, where you can taste typical dishes and products. Folklore festivals such as the Palio and the Transhumance festival in Borno, but also appointments for the more sporty: the Poker della Montagna in Angolo Terme welcomes many riders every year, as well as the San Fermo Trial in Borno, included in the “Valle dei Segni Mountain Cup” circuit, and the historic Malegno – Ossimo – Borno hill-climb time trial.
