5. Ogne (Camping Bosco Blu) m. 960 – Triangle – Malga Corvino – Path of the Restei – Val Sorda (Pozze), m. 1386 1386
Route characteristics
Almost flat itinerary in the Ogne – Triangolo section. Steeply uphill, but also with some slight slopes, from the Triangolo to Malga Corvino, with a short passage on rocks. From Corvino to the Pozze di Val Sorda a dozen meters uphill and then mainly downhill. Path through spruce and beech woods.
Description
About 40 m. after the entrance to the Bosco Blu campsite (coming from the village) take a small road on the right among the spruce trees, which after about a hundred meters leads onto a flat meadow. Continue until you reach a farmhouse with a fountain. Shortly after, leave the dirt road, keep left and cross a vast meadow and take the easy path that enters the wood again. After Via Triangolo (20 min.), where there is a grassy clearing, turn left: the ascent begins. Continuing straight on, you arrive at an old stable and then the “Mario Nodari” holiday home, where trail 6, which leads to Malga Val Sorda, begins. Trail 5 climbs diagonally eastwards, passes a short passage on exposed rocks (to be tackled with some caution), becomes narrow, and then widens again, continuing flat in a mixed spruce and beech forest. It continues to climb with moderate slopes until
the final part, which reaches the pastures of Località Corvino (1 hr). Walk along the grassy ridge until you reach some arrows. Go up the small meadow behind the signs, at the steepest part and enter the wood. After a few minutes climb, turn right. Now the path, known as “dei Restei”, continues flat or with some ups and downs up to the pasture and the ponds of Val Sorda (1:45 hrs).
